Mauro Sassu

MSc Civil Engineering from University of Pisa in 1984, PhD Structural Engineering from University of Florence in 1989. He is full professor of Structural Design at the Department of Civil Environmental Engineering and Architecture (DICAAR) of the University of Cagliari and Head of the Laboratory of Structural Engineering. He has been participating in international research projects and technical committee of EN 1996 (Masonry Structures) and CEN TC127 (Fire protection and resistance of buildings). He has attended many research funds from the Department of Civil Protection, the Ministry of Education, University and Research, the Government of Tuscany Region and other public Institutions. Prof. Sassu is author of more than 200 scientific papers on the topics of seismic protection of buildings, forensic engineering, cultural heritage, structural design. He has organized national  and international scientific events; member of scientific Committees of national and international conferences and invited to give scientific Seminars from national and foreign University, such as the University of Miami, RWTH Aachen, University of Urbana-Champaign, University of Minho.

 

Flavio Stochino

Flavio Stochino is Assistant Professor of Structural Analysis and Design (RtDB) ICAR/09 at University of Cagliari, department of Civil,  Environmental Engineering and Architecture (DICAAR) His scientific research deals with the sustainability of reinforced  concrete structures and with the structural behaviour under extreme loading conditions (Fire and Blast). Mario Lucio Puppio

Assistant Professor of Structural Analysis and Design (RtDA) ICAR/09 at University of Cagliari, department of Civil,  Environmental Engineering and Architecture (DICAAR). MsC on Civil Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2013, PhD on Structural Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2018. Author of 30 papers on stability of bridges, sustainable constructions, structural design, seismic protection of r.c. and masonry buildings.

 

Fausto Mistretta

Associate Professor of Structural Analysis and Design ICAR/09 at University of Cagliari, department of Civil,  Environmental Engineering and Architecture (DICAAR). The main research interests are: structural testing, technology and performance of concrete, non-destructive testing methods, management and planning of building maintenance operations. Principal Investigator of various research projects on structural safety of Building Heritage and authors of more than 20 international papers.

 

Mauro Coni

Associate Professor of Roads, Railways and Airports ICAR/04 at University of Cagliari, department of Civil,  Environmental Engineering and Architecture (DICAAR). Master Degree in Civil Enginieering in 1991 and PhD in “Mechanical Design” in 1995. Research fields are environmental impact of transport infrastructures, noise and vibrations, pavement simulation and design, materials, construction and maintenance. Authors of more than 100 scientific papers on runway pavements, context sensitive road design and recycling in road construction. From 1991 he has been a consultant for public administrations, airports and private companies and from 2011 to 2016 he as been Transport Councillor for Cagliari Administration.

 

Michele Campagna

Full Professor of Spatial Planning  ICAR/20 at University of Cagliari, department of Civil,  Environmental Engineering and Architecture (DICAAR). His main research interests include issues related to Spatial Planning, Geodesign, meta-planning, the ICT/GIS adoption and innovation in the planning practice including SDI, Planning Support Systems, Citizens Observation, Social Media and Volunteered Geographic Information. He authored more than 130 publications and he is editor the book “GIS for Sustainable Development” published by CRC Press in 2006. He is panel member/reviewer/invited speaker of International Conferences in planning and GIS.
